At the beginning of this tour you will drive along the wine roads of Crete. The villages you pass through are famous for their excellent grape varieties and wines, so you will pass many famous wineries along the way. 
The first stop is the village of Agios Thomas, founded in 1371 AD and situated at an altitude of 760m. Here you can visit Byzantine churches, the ruins of the Byzantine aqueduct and Roman rock tombs. 
After descending to the Messara plain, you will drive through olive groves to the freshwater lake of Zaros. Here you can stop for a coffee before continuing south.
After a pleasant drive along dirt roads, you reach the entrance to the Agiofarango Gorge, where the hike begins. As you walk through the gorge (the level of difficulty is close to zero) you will have the opportunity to get very close to the cute and completely harmless sheep and goats ... After a twenty-minute walk, you will reach a fine pebble beach that will enchant you. You have arrived in the paradise of southern Crete. 
After a refreshing swim in the beautiful waters, you will drive along dirt roads to the cozy village of Sivas, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch in the shade of the plane trees in the village square.
The return journey to the hotel is also on an idyllic route.
